The Department of Computer Science hosts dedicated facilities and software for all levels of study.
You’ll benefit from access to facilities that enhance your core studies and enable you to pursue your own projects related to your studies. We also provide study and group work rooms with PCs to support student learning in a less formal environment and provide a meeting area for group work.Our facilities include:
- dedicated high-end computing laboratories equipped with the latest hardware, available Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00, plus remote access
- access to the ÀÇÓÑÉçÇø Academic Computing Cluster (RACC), a Linux cluster consisting of 2048 CPU cores
- dedicated technical support.
Overall, 91% of our students said it has been easy to access subject-specific resources (eg, equipment, facilities, software, collection) when they needed to (National Student Survey 2025, 90.5% of responders from the Department of Computer Science).
