Areas of interest
Richard is an agricultural economist with expertise in rural land use, farm economics and structural issues. He has over 40 years’ experience in the design, implementation and analysis of surveys on rural, food and agricultural issues: most of these have been on the decision-making behaviour of farmers and their future plans for developing their businesses as well as consumers’ food choice decisions.
