You can apply online for all of our courses, including courses with an integrated foundation year, via the . You can apply for up to five courses, including more than one course at the same institution.

Most undergraduate degree courses have their UCAS application deadline in January. Check the UCAS website for the most up-to-date .

1. How do I find a course?

Browse our undergraduate courses and identify which ones you'd like to apply for.

Make sure to check your course's entry requirements before you apply. Our typical offers are expressed in terms of A level, BTEC and International Baccalaureate requirements. However, we also accept many other qualifications.

2. How do I begin my application?

Register on the  and complete the application form online. Use the UCAS codes that are shown on our course pages and the ÀÇÓÑÉçÇø's UCAS code (R12). The University does not have a campus code. 

3. How do I write my personal statement?

As part of your application, you'll need to submit a personal statement to support your application. This is your opportunity to tell us more about why you want to study the course and what interests, skills and experience you have that demonstrate your passion for the subject.

We recognise that you may be applying to multiple subjects using the same UCAS form. UCAS provides .

4. How do I submit my university application?

When you're happy with your application and have added the required information such as qualifications, personal statement and reference, you can submit your application. 

UCAS charges most students a small one‑off application fee.

5. What happens if I miss the UCAS application deadline?

Make sure to check the UCAS website for the most up-to-date . If you have missed the January deadline, you can still apply via UCAS, and we are happy to consider late applications until June. All applications received after June are entered into Clearing. Please be aware that some of our courses may be full after the January UCAS deadline, so we recommend early applications where possible.

1. What happens after I submit my application?

After you submit your application, UCAS will send it to our Admissions Office. Our Admissions Team will then assess your application and decide whether we can offer you a place. Assessment varies from course to course. Some require an interview or portfolio submission. Look up your chosen course to see whether an additional assessment step is required.

In general, we will use the information supplied in your application form, including:

• personal statement
• predicted/achieved grades
• the reference supplied by your school or college.

2. When will I receive a decision?

You can track the progress of your application on . We carefully consider every application, so don’t worry if you don’t hear back straight away. If your application is successful, you'll receive an offer from us. A conditional offer means your offer is subject to achieving your grades or providing further information. An unconditional offer means that you have already met the course requirements.

3. Can I visit the ÀÇÓÑÉçÇø after receiving an offer?

Yes – you can attend an Offer Holder Day at the ÀÇÓÑÉçÇø. These normally include:

• a tour of the campus and facilities
• a visit to a hall of residence
• the chance to meet academic staff and current students.

Offer Holder Days usually take place between February and April in your year of entry.

4. How do I respond to the offer?

Once you have heard from all the universities that you have applied to, you can decide which offer you want to accept. Most people choose two: a firm (or first) choice, and an insurance (or second) choice. If you meet the conditions of your offer on A level results day, you'll automatically be accepted onto your firm choice course.
